In this two part class, with two hour sessions each, you will learn how to make this adorable patchwork tuffet.
Session 1 - April 30 - from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
all the technique will be taught and the full kit will be provided (except fabric). We will practice and get our pattern started.
After a week you have to have all your panels done so get prepared to have some homework. If you don’t have a sewing machine at home, no worries! We offer our “Craft Room Service” for only $7.00/hour. Make sure to schedule your time.
Session 2 May 14 -10:30 am to 12:30 pm
You will arrive with your 8 panels done and we will assemble your tuffet, learn a little bit of upholstery and you will return home with the most beautiful furniture piece done by you!!!
Bring a 42 piece Jelly Rol (2.5 inch strips) or buy it at Little Thimble Craft with 15% dicount
One 6” piece of foam pre-cut to an 18” diameter, beveled on top, outside edge and center marked for the button locatio
One piece of 17″ diameter plywood with holes for button tufting and T-nut installation predrilled.
Eight T-nuts used to attach bun feet installed in the wood round (select outer holes for narrow bun feet and inner holes for wide bun feet), and foam glued to the plywood round
One 36” x 36” piece of upholstery grade fiber (batting)
One 2 1/2” button form
Four 18″ pieces of cord (used to attach the button to the tuffet form). This will not break!
Two yards of tufting cord for gathering the bottom. This will not break!
Four finished bun feet with hanger bolts installed
